Eid ul Azha Progress Update: Cantonment Board Malir – June 2023
On the joyous occasion of Eid ul Azha, we are pleased to share the monthly progress report of Cantonment Board Malir for the month of June, with a focus on our sanitation branch and its efforts to ensure a clean and healthy environment during this festive season.
To facilitate the timely disposal of offal during Eid ul Azha, the CBM sanitation branch has taken proactive measures. Collection points and designated dumping points have been set up in various areas to safely bury the offal of sacrificial animals. This initiative aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our community.
The sanitation teams of CBM were actively engaged in their duties on the first day of Eid ul Azha. Their activities included offal removal, spreading of lime powder, and overall cleanliness operations. We urge the community to join hands in saving the environment by keeping the area clean and maintaining a sense of responsibility.
Continuing their efforts, the CBM sanitation teams conducted fumigation in different areas after the first day of Eid ul Azha. This process is crucial for controlling pests and ensuring a healthy environment for all residents. We emphasize the importance of environmental preservation and urge everyone to contribute to the cleanliness of our surroundings.
On the second day of Eid ul Azha, the sanitation teams carried out various activities, including washing sacrificial camps, sprinkling lime powder as a disinfectant, and continuing the offal removal process. These efforts are aimed at maintaining cleanliness and preventing any health hazards in our community.
The commitment of our sanitation teams extended to the third day of Eid ul Azha, where they diligently carried out activities such as washing sacrificial camps, offal removal, and the continued sprinkling of lime powder as a disinfectant in different areas. Their dedication and hard work contribute to a clean and healthy environment for all.
